This ministry provides assistance and guidance to those who need to go through the process of a formal Annulment within the Archdiocese. Field Advocates meet with individuals at the rectory to complete the necessary paperwork and explain the process. All information is held in strict confidence.

This ministry was formed to comfort all who mourn. Trained bereavement ministers meet with families who have lost a loved one to plan and personalize the Funeral Mass. The ministers follow the survivors in the days, weeks, and months to follow. The Bereavement Ministers host the annual All Soul’s Mass each November, where the names of the deceased are read aloud.
Please visit our bereavement website for help with funeral planning.

The anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, especially near the time of death. It is most likely one of the last sacraments one will receive. A sacrament is an outward sign established by Jesus Christ to confer inward grace. In more basic terms, it is a rite that is performed to convey God’s grace to the recipient, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
If you have a loved one who is gravely ill and would like to receive this Sacrament, please call the rectory (847) 825-7605, and a priest will visit as soon as possible.
