Girls and boys may become Altar servers starting in sixth grade through eighth grade. Servers assist the priests for weekday and Sunday Masses as well as Holy Days, weddings, and funerals.
Altar Servers and families - do you truly understand the Catholic Mass? Do you sometimes find Mass boring? Then "The Mass Explained" is for you.
We encourage you to read these commentaries to help you understand the Mass better. Better yet, read them together as a family. Take ten minutes a day to read and discuss a commentary. Remember, the family that prays together, stays together!
